We have studied this picture of Russia's Jana Khokhlova and Sergei Novitski performing at the World Figure Skating Championships in Turin, but we can't work it out. Is she really tiny? Is he really big? Is it a trick of perspective?

TOKYO, April 11 (AP) - (Kyodo)—Newly crowned world champion Mao Asada attended an award ceremony on Sunday after she received recognition by Guinness World Records for her landing of a total of three triple axels at the Vancouver Olympics.

Asada, who won the silver medal in Vancouver, became the third Japanese figure skater to be recognized by Guinness World Records following Albertville Games silver medalist Midori Ito and Miki Ando, who is the only woman to ever land a quadruple in competition.

Asada executed one triple axel in her short program and two in the free skate but finished behind Kim Yu Na of South Korea.

Her record will be among those published in the 2011 edition of the Guinness World Records set to go on sale in September.
